RLR Photography Sessions

What you need to know:

• Mini sessions are in nature, short, and fast paced. We require that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your time and be prepared.
• We will not refund your payment if you are late for your spot. We will reschedule only if spots are available.
• By continuing with a filling in a booking form below you will be contacted via email to book your session. Payment is taken at the time of booking. Appointments are booked on a first come, first serve basis. (Please see terms below)
• If you are wanting the horse in your photo, please be sure that your children are not allergic or afraid of horses.
• No outside pets or animals are permitted at these sessions.

• You must understand that children won’t always look at the camera and smile, but we do our best with our team to make that happen.
• Sometimes children don’t always want to participate, please remain calm and we’ll work through it together.
• Know that Maureen will not be holding back the best images and the 4 chosen for you will be the absolute best ones!  

Additional Checklist:

• Mini sessions are a short, fast paced session that allow us to offer you themed sessions throughout the year, for this reason mini sessions may not suit all families.
• If your child does not warm up to people quickly or will not want to leave your side, we do suggest you join them in the session.
• Children that cannot sit up on their own will require an adult or older child to support them – please ensure older siblings are able to do so or parents will need to join the session.
• Bookings are for family units up to 5 (Parents and their kids), 2 consecutive sessions can be purchased if you want to try other family members or for larger families.  
• Please book back-to-back sessions if you are wanting to try an extended family session.

Images:

Images will be delivered via digital download; we use the email address you give us while booking. The images chosen by the photographer are final and due to the nature of digital images we do not exchange the images. Not all images will have kids looking at the camera and smiling.  We DO NOT keep the best captures a secret; we promise.

Timing:

Each session is a strict 15 minutes in duration. If you are late the time is taken off your session time. If your children are uncooperative, we cannot shoot past your scheduled shooting time. If you do not arrive to your session payment is forfeited and we can try and reschedule but there is not always a guarantee. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your session time.

Sets:

Our set includes a vintage truck with Christmas décor. Along with a Gypsy Cob horse that can be in your photo if you wish.

Outfits:

• Due to time restrictions, there are no outfit changes.
• We suggest earthy tones, tans or whites.
• If you love colour, Deep Reds will work well. Dark greens may blend into the background.
• You will need to arrive ALREADY DRESSED; any time taken to dress children will be taken from your session.

Reshoots and Refunds:

• We will ONLY offer a reshoot or refund where the fault lies within us. (Equipment not working for example.) We DO NOT offer reshoots or refunds because you do not like your child’s expression. Please have a conversion with them about expressions and your expectations if they are old enough to control their facial expressions.

• Photos are taken outside. If there is extreme weather (we will still shoot in light snow) we will reschedule the date and notify you right away, working with yours and our schedule asap to reshoot.

Editing:

• We do not edit chipped nails/nail polish, dirty fingernails or feet or regrowth on hair.
• We do not add or remove makeup or change colour of lipstick/ eyeshadow or outfits.
• Ensure outfits and faces are clean.

Liability:

• We do not guarantee your child’s participation or willingness to smile at the camera or the degree of smile- Please limit your expectations to your child’s natural temperament and their attitude on the day,
• The same is applicable for adult participants.
• Refunds and reshoots will not be given due to lack of participation or enthusiasm or dislike of your child’s facial expression.
• The images sent to you by the photographer are the best choices, we DO NOT hold back on giving you the best images.
• You can change your mind at the session on the package you are purchasing but all payments are final.
