Spending a weekend at River Lane Ranch in Edmonton, Alberta Canada is a wonderful vacation for yourself or even the entire family to enjoy! Meeting the Gypsy Cob horse is like nothing you could ever imagine. Youâll get 3 full days with them (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and with our family.
We offer trail riding, riding lessons, fishing on the banks of the river, training clinics and so much more.
No need to worry about a thing when you spend a weekend at our ranch, all brunch, lunches, and dinners along with snacks are included.
Some vacations will come and go, but a true ranch experience will make life changes that will last foreverâŚ

Your unforgettable weekend begins the moment you landâno rental car needed. Your ranch family has you covered from the get-go!
âď¸ Arrival
Fly in on Thursday and weâll be there to greet you at the airport. From there, weâll take you straight to your beautiful 5-star hotel, located just 8 minutes from the ranch. Settle in and relax and get ready for your big weekend!
đĽ Friday
Kick off your stay with a delicious breakfast inside the beautiful ranch barn. Youâll gather around our farm table with the entire Baird familyâswapping stories, talking horses, and getting to know each other for the weekend ahead.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of the ranch: meet the stallions, cuddle the new foals, visit the mares, and learn how the daily rhythm of RLR works behind the scenes.

- Trail riding with one of our Gypsy Cobs
- Round Pen Training or riding lessons
- Bathing and bonding with the foals

Gather under the stars for a classic bonfire evening, complete with Karaoke, two-stepping, trivia games and lots of laughter with new friends.

Another full day of ranch life awaitsâwith more time in the saddle, hands-on learning, and heartfelt memories made with the horses and your ranch family.
Head out on the trails with the Baird Family and experience first hand what it’s like to ride one of the most quiet and well mannered horses in the world.
Foaling season is happening when youâre at the ranch. You may witness a foal being born, but either way you will fall in love meeting all the new babies on the Ranch. Spend as much time as you like with them and soak in all the love and cuddles they have to offer.
An amazing experience to share with the entire family. River Lane Ranch is a place for making memories, sharing what life is like on a real horse ranch, and learning all things Gypsy Cob horses.

We invite you to explore the best of Canada while staying on the ranch. We have made it easy to plan your stay with our packages and curated ranch experiences. The skyâs the limit.
Now booking for Spring, Summer, Fall, and Ladies Only Vacations in 2025 and 2026!
Flights or transportation to Edmonton are not included. We suggest flying in Thursday and flying out Monday.
Full days at the ranch are â Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Transportation from the airport to your hotel and to and from the Ranch each day are included with your stay.

Max Capacity each weekend is 12 guests.
