We knew that with our exceptional foundation mares, and the outstanding quality that all of our mares have, that finding just the right stallions would be no easy feat and it wasn’t.
We had to have a lot of faith, trust and above all patience. When a stallion has to be more than a pretty face, because your program needs it all. You do NOT settle.
We breed first and foremost for temperament then after that we seek out the right type, conformation and breed standard. Our stallions have to be 100% perfect or we will not consider them for our program. You can be sure what you’re seeing on this page is about as close to perfection as you can get.

SD Empire was bred by no other than the world-class family and breeders known as SD Farms. A traditional Romany Gypsy Family who has been breeding Gypsy Cobs for generations.
His bloodlines go back to some of the most legendary and iconic stallions of all time. Greats like SD Woolly Mammoth, SD Street Fighter and so many others.
SD Empire is as good as it gets in our opinion. He has not only proven himself to be a champion in the show ring, but he has proven that his offspring will be draped in feather, stacked with bone and he continues to pass onto them his perfect conformation.

Jaw dropping, mind blowing, life changing and everything in between we proudly present to you …SD Daddy Cool.
In 2019 we asked our friends who we consider our family, Janey and Gavin from SD Cobs if they had another stallion in mind for our ranch. They said things like “soon” “get ready” and “when it’s time” and we didn’t know what to expect but after years of being trusted with the most absolute incredible mares and champion stallions such as SD Empire and SD Lionheart, we knew to trust and be patient. All good things come to those who wait and thank god we did!
This stallion doesn’t need a fancy write up and he sure never needs to walk into any show ring because as far as we’re concerned, he’s already won the vote of public opinion! You won’t find anything like him in the world and just in case you’re wondering….nope he’s not for sale.
